"Be still and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10 Centering Prayer is a method of prayer involving stillness and openness to God. It is the engagement of both mind and heart in the Ultimate Mystery, beyond thoughts, words, and emotions. There is an ecumenical Centering Prayer Group which meets at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church. The group is open to all people who feel that they would like to deepen their relationship with God. If you are interested in the contemplative dimension of spirituality, we invite you to join us! For more information, you are welcome to contact either Kitty Byus, or Nona Dolmetsch, whose phone numbers and e-mail addresses are below. There is also a link to the Contemplative Outreach website, where much more information can be found. We'd love to hear from you!
